Songfacts®:

  • The first single from The Singularity (Phase 1 – Neohumanity), this was produced, mixed and mastered entirely by Per Nilsson. The Scar Symmetry guitarist commented, "I thought to myself... am I allowed to fuse death metal with AOR, and go extreme in both directions? I didn't ask for permission, I just went and did it."
  • The Singularity, Phase 1: Neohumanity is the first of a trilogy of albums, all revolving around the theme of transhumanism. The band explained that this LP centers around the rise of "artilects (artificial intellects) with mental capacities far above the human level of thought."

Drummer Henrik Ohlsson: "'Limits to Infinity' unveils the malevolent plan of the elite, the hidden hand, and their discoveries regarding the secrets of the universe. The lyric elaborates on the decision makers' long-term plan to merge with machines and colonize other planets."
