The song is a reinvention of the Dell-Vikings' song "Come Go With Me," which was originally a #4 hit in 1957. The doo-wop composition was later covered by Dion (#48, 1963) and the Beach Boys (#18, 1982).
  • The song was featured in the September 10, 2010 episode of the Disney's Channel series The Suite Life on Deck, which Kingston guest starred on.
