Put Your Hands Together

Album: Unpatterns (2012)

Songfacts®:

  • The song's distorted vocals were taken from leftover samples from an old recording session with English-born, US-based soul singer Jamie Lidell. They are the only studio-recorded vocals from Unpatterns. "We've always been interested in the techno side of things," said Simian Mobile' Disco's James Ford to Spinner. "Earlier on, we thought we could play both - that is techno and electro - but mixing the two is actually much more difficult than we thought."
