Songfacts®:

  • The two-man DJ/producer team of Dan Creasy and Nikos Kalogerias began collaborating as Switch Disco after their respective careers in the British and Greek music scenes collided. They signed to Sony UK's Relentless Records and released their debut single, "Everything." It became a club hit in the summer of 2021, boosted by its use in the opening scene of that year's Love Island series.

Fast forward to 2023, when Switch Disco's single "React" was selected for the opening episode of the 2023 Love Island Winter series.
  • "React" mashes up original vocals from Ella Henderson with Robert Miles' 1995 instrumental techno classic "Children."

Henderson describes the physical and emotional sensations she experiences when she's with her lover. She sings about feeling the chemicals in her body moving, and how her body reacts every time he touches her.
  • Sheffield-based DJ and producer TeeDee took the reins to remix the track. His version amplifies the original tune with euphoric buildups, powerful drops, and pulsating basslines. Switch Disco premiered the remix on February 24, 2023.
