  • This was written by a Soul singer named Frederick Knight and originally recorded by Marlena Shaw in 1976. Leonard Cohen covered it in 1992 for his album Future.
  • The Afghan Whigs recorded this for the movie Beautiful Girls. The movie was another example of Greg Dulli collaborating with director Ted Demme. Dulli would star in one of his last films: Monument Avenue. >>
