Songfacts®:

  • This is the fourth single from the eponymous debut studio album by American indie pop band The Drums. Frontman Jonathan Pierce told British newspaper The Independent: "I think of all the songs that we've released, this is the closest to a straight up, in-your-face pop song. There's no experimentation going on; it's just a simple, sad pop song. That's kind of what we go for; these pop songs that are pretty easy to relate to and sing along to."
