  • This is about life as a stripper. Making the money, knowing guys desire you. They do it for the money without thinking of any of the consequences. Just Dance. Maybe that's why many strippers are messed in the head. >>

  • The Faint singer Todd Fink told Vanyaland why the band chose synth-rock when the mainstream soundscape of the '90s was populated with boy bands, pop punk, and nu metal: "We were kind of from the indie rock scene and we were looking for a way out of it honestly. We just got bored of hearing ourselves playing guitar and we felt like we played it just like everybody else. With that feeling we were looking for the promise of what synthesizers could do, they say you can make any sound with them. We thought that we'd take our band money, go that way and see what happens. What sounded natural to us was to play melodies that reminded us of what we liked as kids growing up in the '80s so we ended up mixing the style of that time with the style of where we were coming from."
  • This was used on The Office in the season 4 episode "Night Out." It plays when Michael and Dwight arrive at a nightclub.

  • Megan from Nowhere, InWhoa, I cannot believe no one has commented on this song! It's so bloody good! The Faint (like most Saddle Creek bands) are Franz-tastically fabulous and I love them. They're very techno-sounding, which is great because I love techno. This song is so cool! It was my favourite by The Faint until I heard "Dust" featuring Conor Oberst.
