Better Half Of Me

Album: What a Time to Be Alive (2019)
  • Tom Walker wrote this romantic song at 4 a.m. when he couldn't sleep, singing the words into his phone.
  • The song is about Walker missing his partner Annie when he's away on tour. They're able to meet up occasionally, but both have busy jobs and the singer doesn't get to see her nearly as much as he'd like.
  • After coming up with the initial demo, Tom Walker completed the song with regular George Ezra collaborators Joel Pott and Cam Backwood. Their credits include "Budapest" and" Shotgun."
