  • Tony Banks is best known as the keyboard player in Genesis, but like his bandmates, he's developed a substantial solo catalog. "Charity Balls" is a track from his seventh solo album, Strictly Inc, and it features vocals from Jack Hues of Wang Chung.

"It's about hypocritical people who do a lot of work for charity, but meanwhile have some nasty secret which they have to hide," Banks said in his 2015 Songfacts interview. "That has become rather relevant in England in the last few years."
