Songfacts®:

  • Twenty Twenty are an English pop/rock three piece made up of brothers lead vocalist/guitarist Sam Halliday, and bassist Jack Halliday, plus drummer Sonny Watson-Lang. The band members came together in the final months of 2008 and formed Twenty Twenty in February 2009, where they performed their first live show at the Barhouse in Chelmsford. They subsequently toured extensively as a support act for such acts as Mcfly, Selena Gomez and Scouting For Girls and also as a headliner, where they sold out venues throughout the UK. After striking a deal with major record label Geffen, Twenty Twenty released their first official single "World's Apart," on July 4, 2010, which reached #72 in the UK singles chart. This is the second single from their debut album, Small Talk.
  • During an interview with Digital Spy, Sam was asked what inspires the trio's songwriting? He replied: "We're out of our teens now, but we've written about what it was like going through that experience. Our songs are little stories in themselves, taking all sorts of good and bad feelings and emotions and making them into a song."
