Songfacts®:

  • That's Cat Power's Chan Marshall exchanging call and response backing vocals with Beal on this swaying soul tune. Beal toured with Marshall in 2012.
  • The song's music video features The O.C. actress Mischa Barton as a member of Beal's Church of Nobody cult-like group. The promo features a large version of the singer's art piece titled 'Mischa, why the pencil?' He told NME about the drawing: "The concept is really abstract. I think Mischa Barton is pretty attractive, so I drew her and myself stood behind her, but nothing specifically is happening."

"I've drawn quite a few lascivious pictures and there aren't meant to be themes to them," Beal added. "I guess I'm just a person who likes to draw attractive women."

Mischa Barton previously featured in the video for Noel Gallagher's 2012 single "Everybody's On The Run."
