Songfacts®:

  • This song came together really easily. You Me At Six singer Josh Franceschi recalled to Kerrang:

"Initially I was trying to write a song that could almost fit a sync to a movie trailer or some Game of Thrones battle scene, and if you put this on while watching some GoT battle scenes hopefully you see what I mean!

For almost the first minutes there's not too much going on musically - it's largely just vocals and guitar - but when the lads kick in on the middle eight it sounds so heavy to me, almost like Black Sabbath."
