Will you walk me To the edge again? Shaking, lonely And I am drinking again. Woke up tonight And no one's here with me. I'm giving in to you. Take me under. I'm giving in to you. I'm dying tonight. I'm giving in to you. Watch me crumble. I'm giving in to you. I'm crying tonight. I'm giving in to you.
Caught up in life Losing all my friends. Family has tried To heal my addictions. Tragic it seems To be alone again. I'm giving in to you.
Take me under I'm giving in to you. I'm dying tonight. I'm giving in to you. Watch me crumble. I'm giving in to you. I'm crying tonight. I'm giving in to you.
I look forward To dying tonight. Drinks still on myself. Life's harder every day. The stress has got to me I'm giving in. Giving Giving in now.
Take me under. (I'm killing all the faith) I'm dying tonight. (I'm sick of all that faith) Watch me crumble. (I'm killing all the faith) I'm crying tonight.
I'm giving in to you. Take me under. I'm giving in to you. I'm dying tonight. I'm giving in to you. Watch me crumble. I'm giving in to you. I'm crying tonight. I'm giving in to you. Take me under. I'm giving in to you. I'm dying tonight. I'm giving in to you.

You broke out with the song, "Giving In", which sounds like a battle with alcoholism or some sort of substance abuse. Where were you guys going with that song?
That was actually the first song that all five of us wrote together. The riff came out of just jamming, and nothing more. We wrote the song pretty fast as far as the music went, like maybe an hour. And we pretty much jammed it just the way you hear it now, which is pretty crazy. Mark wrote the lyrics while we were up in the mountains, like we talked about, and there was nothing to do. We were all taking pills and drinking everyday. So, it's about giving in to excess more than anything else. But, he left it open-ended so it could be about any kind of any kind of hopelessness really; anything negative; just giving into that.
Chris from Eau Claire, Wiactually this song is more about alcohol/drug abuse that the lead singer, marky chavez (sp?) overcame. it is about giving into the addiction when he wanted to die and just leave life behind. this song is personal to me because my addiction used to be anything that would bring me close to death...the line "i look forward to dying tonight, i drink till i'm myself, life's harder everyday." has the meaning of the song.
Cliodhna from Galway, IrelandThis song is absoulty brilliant and so are the band, Giving in is one of those songs that make you feel better about yourself(i think any ways) and they are hott! What i want to know is when are they going to come back over here????
Derek from Cheney, WaThis song seems to reflect alot of what serial killers do (I know it sounds strange, but killing to them is sort of like an addiction just like drugs). Why I think this is simply because of all the references the song makes to giving into a person and not a drug ("giving into you" instead of "it").
Elisabeth from N/a, InThis is the first vidoe from their self titled alumb, one of my faveorites!
"The Way" by Fastball was inspired by the story of an elderly couple from Texas who drove to a nearby family reunion and kept going. Fastball's bass player imagined them taking off and having fun like they were young. The story didn't end well: the couple was later found dead after they crashed in a canyon.
