  • Kdlp from ScotlandThe above is all unfortunately totally untrue, I wrote the song in 2007, they stole it. I sent it on Myspace to artists like the Black Keys. Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson and would send demos to their friends circle to try and get attention, very naive. The Black Keys, Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse all used a bass player called Nick Movsho, also plays with Lady Gaga. He 'wrote/stole' this song,' and released within a year of those messages (my version on youtube live 1 year prior to release) .My original is the exact same music/riff, same story, same lyrical references and even some exact same lines of entire lyircs. Their melody line very closely follows our original bass line. The difference being in my original the lyrics are poetic and make sense, whereas in this they are nonsensical and dropped in where they don't fit for no reason, just creative desperation. They stole t from me, same riff, same story, many lines of exact same lyrics. He even steals Billie Holidaysl ine 'god bless the child that's got his own' in the song, which doesn't fit. It is a desperate attempt at bashing a song together, but the music is I wrote is catchy!. This is very easy to prove to any other musician or anyone who understands music, but courts of law, well that is another thing heck (led zep won their stairway case and at no point did the court ever even listen to any music!!), Be realistic people, the guy has been involved in one decent tune he didn't write, and everything else he has touched is abysmal? Doesn't really make sense. Worst thing is if they asked me, I'd just say hey take it we'll go 50/50 no problem, I got hundreds of these. Uk pro music legal agencies have advised it's as blatant as it gets, but pursuing it? that's another matter. Never have any respect for a man who takes a piece of another man's soul and tries to call it his own, and never trust anybody kids. I've left comments on the youtube videos under name Keith Tait, so if you wanna message or know more feel free.
