  • Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

I think I did it again
I made you believe we're more than just friends
    Oh, baby
It might seem like a crush
But it doesn't mean that I'm serious

'Cause to lose all my senses
That is just so typically me
    Oh, baby, baby

    Oops, I did it again
    I played with your heart
    Got lost in the game
    Oh, baby, baby
Oops, you think I'm in love
    That I'm sent from above
    I'm not that innocent

You see my problem is this
    I'm dreaming away
Wishing that heroes, they truly exist
    I cry watching the days
Can't you see I'm a fool in so many ways?

But to lose all my senses
That is just so typically me
    Oh, baby, oh

    Oops, I did it again
    I played with your heart
    Got lost in the game
    Oh, baby, baby
Oops, you think I'm in love
    That I'm sent from above
    I'm not that innocent

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
    Yeah, yeah, yeah

    All aboard
Britney, before you go, there's something I want you to have
Oh, it's beautiful, but wait a minute, isn't this?
    Yeah, yes it is
But I thought the old lady dropped it into the ocean in the end
Well, baby, I went down and got it for ya
    Aw, you shouldn't have

Oops, I did it again to your heart
Got lost in this game, oh, baby
Oops, you (oops, you) think that I'm sent from above
    I'm not that innocent

    Oops, I did it again
    I played with your heart
    Got lost in the game
    Oh, baby, baby
Oops, you think I'm in love
    That I'm sent from above
    I'm not that innocent

    Oops, I did it again
    I played with your heart
    Got lost in the game
    Oh, baby, baby
Oops, you think I'm in love
    That I'm sent from above
I'm not that innocent Writer/s: Martin Max, Rami Yacoub

  • AnonymousSince the video from beginning to end shows Mars as a fake place obviously, the old lady throwing it into the bottom of the ocean and the astronaut going down to get it, is talking about the Telemetry data from the fake moon landing which they destroyed. And even if found, they shouldn't have. Because they want it to be missing and remained missing. Watch right after the videos when britney tells him that he shouldn't have, for a split second there's a small Globe behind Britney's had before she says oops I Did It Again. Which I think is another way of hiding in plain sight that they destroyed the Telemetry data because Oops they fooled us again with all their fake space BS
  • George from Vancouver, Canadare "not that innocent"; if Celine Dion could lose hers at age 12 to her agent, then Britney likely lost hers long before this release (age 19)
  • George from Vancouver, CanadaThe Australian comedy duo Supergirly did a mashup of this with "Hit Me, Baby, One More Time" making the point it's the same song. They cleverly intertwine the lyrics while dancing suggestively.
  • Larry from Coral Springs, FlIn a way..i like the song..but i am no Britney Spears fan. I have to admit. The way she sounds in that number everytime I would hear it..I would justlaugh..:))
  • Sam from Montreal, CanadaThis song was released 8 months as a hit and music video before even the album hits the stores in May 2000.
  • Craig from Melbourne, AustraliaShe has a foot fetish and walks around barefoot in public every chance she gets.
  • Cookie from Malibu, CaWish Britney has written her own songs.
  • Spencer from Mcbride, Canadajordan...alexi laiho is not swedish hes finnish and yeah his accent is pretty strong because hes not using death grunts as the main form of vocals
  • Spencer from Mcbride, Canadago listen to the cover of this by children of Bodom...Alexi...what a goof.
  • Amanda from Little Rock, ArThis song is so awesome! I miss the old Britney.
  • Lucy from Wellington, New Zealandthis is one of the worst songs in the history of bad songs
  • Sharon from Aucklandwell this song is too bubblepop for me and its been mocked way too many times anyway
  • Fred from New York, NyThis song was not written by Max Martin. It was written by Louie Armstrong. Originally it was much slower and used only a piano and Louie's vocals.
  • Jordan from Nottingham, EnglandChildren of Boddom covered this song as a joke it's pretty good/funny, you can hear them laughing at the end.You also can hear the vocalists very swedish accent! hehe
  • Wes from Springfield, VaI hate this song. Hate it, hate it, hate it.
  • Candice from Vancouver, CanadaCan you believe that most parents of 6-year-olds let them sing along to this? What are thier parents thinking?
  • Ken from Louisville, KyIn the diaglogue break after Britney says her line about the old lady dropping the necklace in the ocean, her "hero" says "Well, baby, I went down there and got it for you", and she reples coyly "aww, ya shouldn't have...."

  • Ken from Louisville, KyWeird Al Yankovic did a parody version of the song that he called "Oops...I Farted Again!"
  • Izzie from Lala, Hia classic... haha. i knew that that thing where she went, "i thought the old lady dropped it into the ocean at the end" was about titanic..... haha.
  • Erik from Monterrey, MexicoVMAs 2000 performance, best performance in the VMAs ever!!
  • Natasha from Chico, Cathe dance moves in the video have been mmicked by so many ppl, including on "Will and Grace"
