  • Easy come, easy go, that's just how you live, oh
Take, take, take it all, but you never give
Shoulda known you was trouble from the first kiss
    Had your eyes wide open
    Why were they open? (Ooh-ooh)

Gave you all I had and you tossed it in the trash (ooh-ooh)
You tossed it in the trash, you did (ooh-ooh)
To give me all your love is all I ever ask
'Cause what you don't understand is

I'd catch a grenade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Throw my hand on a blade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I'd jump in front of a train for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
You know I'd do anything for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)

Oh, oh, I would go through all this pain
Take a bullet straight through my brain
Yes, I would die for ya, baby
But you won't do the same

    No, no, no, no-oh
    Uh

    Black, black, black and blue
    Beat me 'til I'm numb
Tell the devil I said "Hey" when you get back to where you're from
    Mad woman, bad woman
    That's just what you are
Yeah, you'll smile in my face then rip the brakes out my car (ooh-ooh)

Gave you all I had and you tossed it in the trash (ooh-ooh)
You tossed it in the trash, yes, you did (ooh-ooh)
To give me all your love is all I ever ask
'Cause what you don't understand is

I'd catch a grenade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Throw my hand on a blade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I'd jump in front of a train for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
You know I'd do anything for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)

Oh oh, I would go through all this pain
Take a bullet straight through my brain
Yes, I would die for ya, baby
But you won't do the same

(No) if my body was on fire
(No) ooh, you'd watch me burn down in flames
(No) you said you loved me, you're a liar
'Cause you never, ever, ever did, baby

But darling, I'd still catch a grenade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Throw my hand on a blade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I'd jump in front of a train for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
You know I'd do anything for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)

Ooh-ooh, I would go through all this pain
Take a bullet straight through my brain
Yes, I would die for ya, baby
But you won't do the same
No, you won't do the same
    You wouldn't do the same
Ooh, you'd never do the same
No, no, no, no-oh Writer/s: Andrew Wyatt, Ari Levine, Brody Brown, Claude Kelly, Peter Gene Hernandez, Phillip Martin Lawrence

  • Jberg from New EnglandWhy "ya" instead of "you"? Is it to annoy people who experience obsessive compulsive disorder? It's annoying!
  • Moses from Abuja,nigeriaO......H I LOVE THIS SONG BA......D
  • Kitty CatI love grenade
  • A Shadow from San FransiscoWow i love this song. If i had to choose and artist to be i would probably be either brunar mars or nefeex. I dont know if nefeex is band or a artist though
  • Rosie71504 from OklahomaBut girls find it the same way guys are not the only one that go through this everyday
  • Michael Lopez from Michigan, UsaReally good song, but if you show it to the wrong person, unexpected things may happen. For instance, I showed it to my ex-girlfriend's friend and she told her that I did that, and she broke up with me.
  • Megan from Stevenson, AlI love the lyrics to this! So emotional!
  • Dick from Concord, Nhi love this song and yes it is very fun 2 sing along with im going 2 blay black ops & play a section of it every time i die.
  • Brady from Niagara Falls, NySong of the year. On You Tube, great cover by Lisa Lavie.
  • Robert from Jackson Heights, NyLove this song but really am not clear on how much Benny Blanco adds to lyrics or Bruno Mars. More clarity is needed because this song has so so many great elements, especially delivery. The video, in my humble opion, adds nothing to the song. The song as delivered by Bruno Mars stands on its own.
  • Megan from Milwalkee, WiI love this song it is very fun to sing along with. It talks about a serious heartbreak in which i can understand what's going inside bruno's head. This song has no swears that i know of and as i said is very fun to sing.
