  • Haleigh from St.peteOne of the first deftones songs I listened to. Still so special and just as good as the first time, I love the lyrics to this song even if they are quite simple. They have such a poetic and meaningful touch to them that you just don't get with alot of other artists.
  • Squill from WncAll I wanna know is how do you explain the line "I dressed you in her clothes"?
  • AnonymousI feel like it describes someone replacing their ex and just acting like the new person is their ex
  • Killjoy_partyseason from Germanythis song describes the final feeling of freedom. Like you've been trapped somewhere for years and you are now about to leave but you only have a few minutes time to leave
  • Garreth from South AfricaThis song is about driving in a car with your pregnant significant other.
  • Clyde FrogThis song is about the narrator getting his heart broken by someone he loves. He meets someone new in a new town and idealizes her as having the qualities he loved in his ex. She eventually realizes this and pushes him away. He can't have his ex, and he can't have her, these rejections leave him ripped to shreds emotionally, suddenly he just wants to be driven away from all of it, from everything, notice the change in tone of the vocals towards the end, much more tormented and painful.
  • Abby I interpreted it as someone who was so desperate to get away that they were willing to tell someone who could get them away anything they wanted. "it feels good to know you're mine, now drive me far away" or maybe using someone to distract you from the person you really loved "I dressed you in her clothes, now drive me far away"
  • Josy from Texasi believe it’s about someone who wants to leave their town with there lover who they have turned to be just like their ex “i dressed you in her clothes” but they love them way more than the ex that they want to just get away with them “so drive me far away” “it feels good to know your all mine” they also don’t care where they go or where they end up as long as there with them “i don’t care we’re just far” this is just my interpretation of this song:)
  • Jimmy from Sydney, Australiawhen you get so pissed with life and the things it chucks at you, listen to this song. but specifically, i think its about losing someone real special to you and not being able to deal with the pain. but no matter how far you go, the thought of her still lingers in your head. the way chino screams, 'far,' its like he wants to erase any thoughts from the past and escape to somewhere new.
  • Zach from Norman, OkPossibly a drug reference. to "get away" from your problems by getting to messed up to think. i don't know, but i love the song either way
  • Ian from New York, NySorry to sound like an idiot but these guys have an odd obsession with cars.
  • R from Hollywood, CaThis can also be interperted as being a relationship you felt was over. Then meeting someone else. But after, you feel that you aren't over your old relationship ('I dressed you in her clothes') and just keep quiet and not express how you feel and wishing you could just leave it all behind.
  • Abbes from Windsor, CanadaBrilliant, i know the feeling.
