  • Who guards the truth, oh Lord most high?
A frightened dove in the starless sky
Oh-oh - so high, most high, so high

Who hides the east from the blind man's eye?
In the land of peace where the righteous cry
Oh-oh - so high, most high, so high
Where are the words - of a king
Who moved the stars and the son
To the light when my spirit was born
    Bring this wanderer home
While mercy sleeps in the hearts of liars
And the olive tree is consumed by fire
Oh-oh - so high, most high, so high
Put out the words - I'm the king
Who moved the star above the sun
To the light when the spirit was born
    Bring this wanderer home
Come on, come on, come on
Now David seed talks through his paper crown
And he spits hot steel - see all the kids fall down
    Oh-oh - so high, most high, oh-oh
Come on, come on, come on
Come on, come on, come on
    Most high, most high
Most high, so high, so high Lyrics licensed and provided by LyricFind

  • S.t."Jesus and his divinity and sacrifice to save humanity is a copy of dozens of ancient "savior" myths"

If you study those myths, a lot of them tie into Nimrod (one of the first antichrists), who was actually trying to dethrone God. Satan knew the plan of the Bible since the days of the garden, hence why he's always flipping things on their head to deceive. If you do the research, there's plenty of evidence for Christ and what these myths represent.

They are largely embellished ancient history, and history has a repetitive nature. Some pople also thought Nimrod (Osiris) was a God who raised from the dead, the difference is Nimrod hated God and started paganism while Jesus walked in Gods spirit and proclaimed him as true, refuting paganism.
  • AnonymousI know Seekeroftruth is just adding his input on this song but I'd like to share my input on the theology in his post.

    "this line:
While mercy sleeps in the hearts of liars
And the olive tree is consumed by fire

could easily be interpreted as a mockery that those who profess mercy are liars, and the olive tree (also a symbol of peace) is consumed by fire, meaning those that profess peace actually destroy it."

We're all liars. We're all cheaters. We're all thieves. We all commit adultery in the heart. No one is good. That is one of many messages in the Bible.

    Mark 10:18
Why do you call me good?' Jesus answered. 'No one is good--except God alone.

"I could interpret this song as more of a challenge to the so-called "savior" of humanity and the atrocities that have followed for over 2000 years (Killing in the name of) from the so-called "peacemakers." In other words, "Where are you God?""

God is in our hearts if we accept him, our problem is Satan is the god of this world and deceives people away from the love of the true God of the universe. Earth isn't the gift of paradise, heaven is, and you get their by finding God here and hopefully showing others his love throughout your life.

    2 Corinthians 4:3-5
3 If the Good News we preach is hidden, it is hidden to those who are lost in sin. 4 The eyes of those who do not believe are made blind by Satan who is the god of this world. He does not want the light of the Good News to shine in their hearts. This Good News shines as the shining-greatness of Christ. Christ is as God is. 5 We do not preach about ourselves. We preach Christ Jesus the Lord. We are your servants because of Jesus.

    Romans 2:6-7
6God “will repay each one according to his deeds.” 7To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. 8But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow wickedness, there will be wrath and anger.
  • SeekeroftruthDedicated and faithful members of christianity will undoubtedly find "proof" of Jesus in almost any imagery, but it's important to understand that the story of Jesus and his divinity and sacrifice to save humanity is a copy of dozens of ancient "savior" myths, much older than christianity. If it can represent Jesus, it can represent many other saviors such as Dionysus, Zoroaster, Attis, Horus, etc. The dove permeates ancient history as the symbol of Peace and serenity.
