  • Pump up the jam, pump it up
    While your feet are stompin'
    And the jam is pumpin'
Look ahead, the crowd is jumpin'
Pump it up a little more
Get the party going on the dance floor
See, 'cause that's where the party's at
And you'll find out if you do that

    I don't want a place to stay
Get your booty on the floor tonight
    Make my day
    I don't want a place to stay
Get your booty on the floor tonight
    Make my day

    Make my day
    Make my day
    Make my day
    Make my day

Pump up the jam, pump it up
    While your feet are stompin'

  • Scott A from FloridaPump Up The Jam was first played in the 1990 movie, "Repossessed", starring Leslie Nielsen (it's played when his character is at the gym). This was the first movie to play the tune.
  • Deborah B Pendleton from Sarasota FlaTo Define I was around in the Disco days and I really love technotronic Pump Up the Volume I used to go to a club in Tampa when they perform their and I thought they for the greatest dance group
  • Eric from Bend, OrI was 9 years old when this song came out, and I had the "Pump Up The Jam" album on tape then too. I have it on CD now, and I like the song "Get Up (Before the Night is Over)" better. There are other good songs on the CD too.
