  • A scrap of flesh
    And a heap of bones
    One deep sigh
    And a desperate moan

    Three black eyes
    And a busted nose
I said, oh yeah, oh yeah

    Take me up
    Baby, I'm ready to go
    Switch me up
Baby, I'm ready to go, yeah
    Wake me up
    Baby I'm ready
Baby, baby, I'm ready to go
(Chill me, freeze me, to my bones)

I'm not going to burn in hell
    I cased the joint
    And I know it well
    Maybe my carcass
    Can feed the worms
I'm working for the other firm

    Shake me up
    Baby, I'm ready to go
    Fix me up
Baby I'm ready to roll, yeah
    Set me up
Baby, baby, baby, I'm ready to go
(Chill me, freeze me, to my bones)
    Flip the switch

I got my money, my ticket
    All that shit
    I even got myself
    A little shaving kit
    What would it take
    To bury me
    I can't wait
    I can't wait to see

    I got a toothbrush, mouthwash
    All that shit
    I'm looking down
    In the filthy pit
    I had the turkey
    And the stuffing too
    I even saved
    A little bit for you

    Lethal injection's a luxury
    I want to give it
    To the whole jury
    I'm just dying
    For one more squeeze
    Oh yeah
    Oh yeah

    Pick me up
    Baby, I'm ready to go
    Pick me up
    Baby, I'm ready to blow
    Take me up
Baby, if you're ready to go
Baby, I got nowhere to go
    Baby, I'm ready to go
(Chill me, freeze me, to my bones)

  • Fid from FkirudaKeith says 'fastest track, faster than Rip This Joint'?!? There may be margin of error of a few BPM but my count says live version of 'Flip..' is about 153 beats per minute, studio version approx. 162 BPM and Rip This Joint is approx. 193 BPM.
  • Questor from Citrusheights, CaI first heard this song at a gym. It was extremely upbeat. I was surprised to look closer at the lyrics that it's so much about being so close to death. If I have to choose a way to go, this is it! It's otherwise got a very optimistic pulse to it. I've had some real down days especeially in the bad economy of 2011, and this tune makes me want to flip to on, better days ahead!
  • Brian from Alluhrst, NjI love the arab sound of the guitar
  • Johnny from Los Angeles, Casomeone should make a slower, more heartfelt version.
  • Johnny from Los Angeles, CaA pretty bad Stones song. Just doesn't have any feeling to it. Just seems of the assessmbly line.
