Born To Be Wasted

Album: not on an album (2009)

  • Running to over six minutes, this rhythmically infectious track was written by Alexander Perls and performed by him in its entirety; it is said to be one of the songs that vies for the title of the YouTube National Anthem, as it is so often used to soundtrack videos on the service.
  • There are two rather obvious interpretations of "Born To Be Wasted," both of them related to dying young. It remains to be seen if either of them is correct, but which if either you choose depends on whether you find an anti-drug or anti-war message the more important. >>
