  • 30 Seconds To Mars came up with this song on the spur of the moment. It was written, recorded and mixed in just two days, alongside their cover of Bjork's "The Hunter." Both were included as bonus tracks on A Beautiful Lie.
  • The A Beautiful Lie album was originally going to be released under the title of Battle of One until the band came up with the title track in Cape Town, South Africa.
