Songfacts®:

  • Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams is a concept album revolving around the four themes in which the album itself is named after. The record opens with this surging opener, in which a female voiceover recites the first words in the disc's title along with reverb-heavy guitar. Frontman Jared Leto told MTV News: "It's a concept record, if it's not, I don't know what is. It's not a rock opera - I know people get that confused often - but this is a conceptual album, it's not a narrative piece."
