  • Adam penned this homage to Marvin Gaye with Morrissey's guitarist and writing partner Boz Boorer. He'd met the Soul legend at the 1983 TV Special Motown 25 (Ant performed "Where Did Our Love Go") and watched what would be his last performance before Gaye's father shot him. "That's why I wrote, 'Listen to Marvin and weep,'" he explained to The Sun. "Because I think it was tragedy how his life ended. I also think he's never really been given the respect for being a genius songwriter and a marvelous person."
