Songfacts®:

  • Breaking It In is the first album from the singer/songwriter Babini. He told us: "'Sometimes' is a song that is sort of an underdog because once you get past the catchy hooks there's something deeper happening. Most love songs on the radio (at least in this genre) deal with the happiness of finding the perfect match or the bitterness of a failed relationship, but there's a lot of subject matter in the middle that almost never gets written about. Sometimes is a mainstream sounding song that's about getting frustrated in a relationship but being able to work things out in the end. Alternate song title: 'We can work it out 2' by The Alexis Babeatles." (Alexis' website is alexisbabini.com)
