Snow In California

Album: Christmas Wishes (2013)

  • This ballad finds Ariana hoping that she gets snowed in so that her boy doesn't get on a flight and leave her. She sings to Santa:

"Can you just make it snow in California?
    I'll even settle for rain
Don't want him to go tomorrow morning
Give me something to make him stay."

It's a fair bet that Ariana had in mind her own long-distance beau, Nathan Sykes of the English boyband The Wanted, when she penned the lyrics.
