Songfacts®:

  • Banks co-wrote this dark brooding track with Frank Ocean's touring keyboardist Buddy Ross. It finds the singer making it very clear that she's going to get what she wants.

All I can think about is you're mine
You and me in my bed at midnight

Banks explained in a press release: "It's about knowing what you deserve, saying it out loud, and demanding it with no apologies."
  • The song was produced by Kanye West collaborator Hudson Mohawke and also BJ Burton, who has worked with the likes of James Blake and Bon Iver.
  • Banks had never worked with Hudson Mohawke before. The singer told Apple Music she "wanted the beat to feel dangerous," and thought Mohawke was the right guy do that. As soon as she met him, she told the producer, "I want to dive in with you."
