  • The fifth track on the band's debut album, "One Hundred Thousand Smiles Out" was written by bass player Les Holroyd; according to the fanzine Nova Lepidoptera, it is "about the isolation of an astronaut lost in space". It is a song in a similar vein to the Mel Pritchard composition "Negative Earth" which appears on their second album. >>>
