  • "Ra" is band member Stuart Wolstenholme's magnum opus, and his only contribution to the Octoberon album. Ra was the ancient Egyptian Sun God of course, but the inspiration for the track was actually the long hot English summer of 1976.
  • The first four notes of the piece were lifted from Mahler's Symphony Number One, and the music was published by Rak Publishing. >>>
