Songfacts®:

  • This song is a duet between Belle & Sebastian frontman Stuart Murdoch and Dum Dum Girls' Dee Dee Penny. The American had auditioned without success for Murdoch's 2014 movie God Help The Girl. He told Drowned in Sound: "Ever since she auditioned for God Help The Girl I thought I would write a song for her. By chance the Dum Dum Girls were coming through Atlanta while we were there recording. It was meant to be."
