  • The song includes the lyric: "Waiting for you to come around is like. Waiting for rain in a year-long drought." Betty Who revealed to Digital Spy that the words were inspired by a line spoken by Hilary Duff in the 2004 teen movie A Cinderella Story.
  • Who actually wrote this sitting at a piano at her parents' house. She told Billboard magazine: "I was having a little Prince/ABBA moment and listening to a lot of music from them."

    The Australian songstress added that sent the piano part to her producer Peter Thomas, "and he was like, 'This is the coolest thing ever.'"
