• Beyoncé recorded "Virgo's Groove" for Renaissance, an album described as a "celebration of a club era." Yes, it's very much a dance record, but one where sex is the prime topic. No more so than this sensual disco song where Beyoncé entices her husband, Jay-Z, into the bedroom.
• Beyoncé titled the funky siren song after her astrological sign, Virgo. This is the second time the Texan star has included her star sign in a song title. She named the penultimate track on her debut album, Dangerously in Love, "Gift From Virgo."

And 'Virgo's Groove' was definitely one," Coney recalled to Billboard. "I remember we stayed there overnight. We didn't even go home. We took turns working. And we stayed at the studio overnight and just worked until she got there in the morning. And I remember her coming in, they played her the records, and she was like, 'Yo, this is so dope. I really just love when I have a lot of help that I can trust."
• At 6:08, "Virgo's Groove" is the longest track on Renaissance. Its length serves as a tribute to the '70s and '80s disco era, where there were often extended mixes for the dance floor.
• The Genius community voted "Virgo's Groove" their #1 song of 2022. They said: "It's an ocean of a song, with percussion, background ad-libs, and fades all working in fine-tuned harmony - a reflection of its multi-year production process. And penned by an all-star cast including trusted Beyoncé collaborators Nova Wav and DIXSON, the lyrics are deceptively simple, illustrating an unfettered picture of yearning."
