Songfacts®:

  • In February 2004, Bic told Mark Edwards of the London Sunday Times that she wrote this song after hearing "Are You Lonesome Tonight" on the radio. Edwards described it as "a country waltz enhanced by judiciously placed Neil Finn overdubs". Although most definitely not a clone of this well known Elvis Presley standard, even the undiscerning listener will detect more than a passing resemblance in the tempo and rhythmic phrasing. >>>
