Songfacts®:

  • Not to be confused with the earlier Praying Mantis song with the same title, "Journeyman" was originally "Vandraren." According to Candice Night, they found it on YouTube. As usual, the new arrangement is by Ritchie Blackmore, and Candice supplies the lyrics, which in this case are very thematic of the original.
  • "Journeyman" is the third track on the 2010 Autumn Sky album wherein it runs to around 5 minutes 41 seconds. The live version from A Knight In York runs to 6 minutes 58 seconds on which it is equally rock-oriented. >>>
