Songfacts®:

  • This humorous sing-along tribute to the ultimate redneck fashion statement was released as the fourth single from Country music singer Brad Paisley's eighth studio album, This Is Country Music. The tribute to some country folks favorite color was penned by Paisley with Chris Dubois, whilst comedian Larry the Cable Guy supplies some "Git 'er done" shout-outs.
  • Paisley told The Boot that he loves the song's imagery as its also his fan base. "It is as important a fashion accessory for the modern-day redneck as a dip of snuff and that's a fun look at life in my audience," he said. "If we were outdoors in the woods, I wouldn't be able to see half my crowd."
