  • Back in 2019, Brandon Heath was ready to move on from his career as an artist. One of his last engagements was a performance for the Missouri radio station KLJY Joy 99.1 FM that was broadcast live. During the event, Heath played "That's Enough," a song he had recently written and planned to pitch to another artist to record.

    The following morning, the station replayed the song from the previous night, and listeners began calling in. As the song's popularity grew, KLJY's Sandi Brown contacted Heath, telling him he should be the one to record the song. This experience reignited Heath's creative spark and ultimately led him to sign a new record deal with Centricity Music and write a set of songs that became the album Enough Already.
  • Heath originally wrote his 2008 hit song "Give Me Your Eyes" as a prayer for God to open his eyes to see those around him. It took on a new meaning for him after a period of personal reflection when he often questioned his own worth. In 2022, Heath was asking God to help him see himself the way the Father sees him. "The ultimate question is 'Who am I?' because so much of my identity has been wrapped up in being an artist," Heath explained. "I remember singing the song one day and it just dawning on me, God, how do You see me? I know that You say I'm Your child, but surely there's more that You see in me than just being a good enough."

    Heath's nine-track project, Enough Already, provides answers to these faith-shaping questions.
  • Heath explores the album's central theme on "That's Enough," where he emphasizes the fundamental aspects of belief. The singer reminds listeners they are present, loved, and that God is good... and that is enough. "When it comes down to it, the Gospel is really simple," he stated. "So when God asks us to have a childlike faith, I think He really means it."
  • Enough Already finds Heath collaborating with an array of songwriters and producers, many of whom he hadn't previously worked with. He co-wrote "That's Enough" with songwriters Mallary Hope and Molly Reed Grayson. Producer Jeff Pardo (Anne Wilson's "My Jesus," Katy Nichole's "In Jesus Name (God of Possible)") helmed the track.
