Songfacts®:

  • Brantley Gilbert married his longtime love, Amber Cochran, in June 2015. This guitar-driven track finds Gilbert singing about making the most of every moment together, "so we can say we were there when we talk about it in our rockin' chairs."
  • Georgia schoolteacher Amber Cochran has inspired many of Gilbert's songs, including hits such as "You Don't Know Her Like I Do" and "More Than Miles." Asked by Billboard magazine how his wife feels about the fact that their life together provides inspiration for much of his catalog, Gilbert replied:

"I think she likes those better than the songs that aren't about her," he says humbly. "She understands that I am a songwriter, and being able to write songs about my life, there's going to be content of different colors, shapes, and sizes. She does a great job of just having my back. I've got an awesome wife. I've definitely out-punted my coverage."
