Save My Love

Album: The Promise (2010)

  • This is a track from The Promise, a double CD compilation by Bruce Springsteen of previously unreleased songs drawing from the Darkness on the Edge of Town sessions. "Darkness was my 'samurai' record," Springsteen writes in the liner notes, "stripped to the frame and ready to rumble... But the music that got left behind was substantial."
  • This song, which was released as a promotional single on November 16, 2010, is the only brand-new recording on the album.
  • The video features early images and clips of a 1970s Springsteen mixed with present day footage of The Boss.
