  • This is a track from American singer and songwriter Bruno Mars' debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans. The Hawaiian native penned the song with Brody Brown, who is a LA born songwriter and producer.
  • Brody Brown started his music career at the age of 14 when he was a musician in Bobby Valentino's band. He played with other artists such as Kanye West, Timbaland, and, whilst still in his teens and in 2007, the LA native signed a publishing deal with West Side Independent Publishing Company. Since then Brown has collaborated on various projects as a producer and writer with music for acts such as T Pain, Lupe Fiasco, Lionel Richie, Dr. Dre, Kara DioGuardi, Flo Rida, B.o.B. and Mary Mary.
  • Mars performed the song on the UK X Factor Results Show on Sunday 30 October 2011. It charted in the top 20 of the UK singles chart after the track was reduced to 59p on iTunes following his energetic performance.
  • The tune was used as opening song in the 2011 film Friends With Benefits.
