  • This song written by Leslie Bricusse fom the 1967 musical Doctor Dolittle won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Although it is certainly not without charm it is difficult to see how it was chosen in preference to "The Bare Necessities".
    "Talk To The Animals" is performed by Rex Harrison as the Doctor as he is instructed in this newfound wisdom by his pet parrot. >>
