• Released worldwide on July 3, 2026, "Bonjour, Pardon, Merci" was Dion's second original single of the year, following the Jean-Jacques Goldman-penned "Dansons" in April. They signaled Dion's return to original material ahead of her Paris residency at the Plenitude Arena starting September 2026. Both songs hit #1 in Dion's native Quebec.
• Ycare originally intended the track as a universal message about overcoming hardship but noted the themes "fitted Céline's recent story well," referencing her 2022 diagnosis with stiff-person syndrome. Coming right before her return to the stage in France, the song took on an especially personal resonance for Dion.
