  • He famously assaulted Rihanna, who he was dating at the time, the night before the Grammy Awards in 2009. She was riding in his rented Lamborghini when he attacked her, choking her nearly unconscious and leaving her in the street. Brown was ordered to stay 100 feet away from her at all times, a restriction that was eased by a judge in February, 2011.
