  • Ciara married Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson on July 6, 2016. They tied the knot in front of close friends and family at the Peckforton Castle in Liverpool, England.
  • Ciara revealed in a Cosmopolitan interview that it was a Destiny's Child's morning news show performance that inspired her to become an artist. She said: "They were killing it, and I just went, 'This is what I want to do. I'm gonna be an entertainer.' The first goal I wrote down was to get discovered. The second was to sell 3 to 4 million records. Third, have longevity."
