Reporter Ryan Brockington said of this song in The New York Post: "From my calculations she spits the words 'gimmie that bass' over 30 times and tells you that she will indeed 'bring it back and take it back' a good 16 times. The 'it' I believe she is referring to is her rump shaker and that 'bass' is what will make her 'bring it.'"
