My father said never give up son
Just look how good Cassius become
    Muhammad, Mahatma, and Nelson
    Not scared to be strong

Yep, he's talking about Mohammed Ali (formerly known as Cassius Clay), Mahatma Gandhi, and Nelson Mandela.
  • The song is a collaboration with Big Sean. The Detroit rapper delivers some inspirational bars about the obstacles he overcame while chasing his hip-hop dreams, including not having enough money to pay tuition. By the end of the verse we've learnt he beat the odds by trusting himself and doing it on his own terms.
  • The video is a celebration of US immigration. Using historical photos from the 19th and 20th centuries, the clip shows America's long history of welcoming immigrants from across the world. It was directed by Ben Mor, who also did the band's visual for "Hymn For The Weekend."
