Songfacts®:

  • Dapper Laughs (real name Daniel O'Reilly) is a cockney comedian who is known for his catchphrase "proper moist." O'Reilly noticed a gap in the market for 'geezer humour,' which he exploited with the release of this single titled after his catchphrase. The song is basically some of his laddish jokes stitched together over a clubby ska-pop backing track. O'Reilly's live following proved sufficient to propel the tune into the UK Top 20.
