Songfacts®:

  • This song is a collaboration between David Guetta and Dutch newcomer Nicky Romero, who attained a joint residency with the French DJ/producer at party hot spot Ibiza for the summer of 2012.
  • Mr. Brainwash, who is a Paris-born Los Angeles-based street artist, directed the song's music video, which was filmed in an art studio space at London's Sorting Office. Discussing how the pair met, David Guetta explained: "[Mr Brainwash] was totally crazy, following me around everywhere and I didn't know who he was. Years later I was on a plane watching a movie about street art, and it was his movie!"

Mr Brainwash's real name is Thierry Guetta, but the street artist isn't related to the French DJ.
  • This wasn't Mr Brainwash's first foray into the music world. He also created the cover for Madonna's 2009 hits compilation, Celebration.
  • This was titled after London's Metropolis Studios, where Guetta and Romero recorded the song.
