It's Your World Now

Album: Long Road Out Of Eden (2007)

  • Don Henley told Billboard magazine October 12, 2007: "I think the point of the whole album is summed up on the last song that Glenn wrote with Jack Tempchin, 'Your World Now.' The crux of the whole thing for me is those two lines: 'Be part of something good, leave something good behind.' For me that sums up everything - to my children, to my fans, to everybody. If there was one message to this album that I want to impart, that would be it."
  • When Glenn Frey passed away on January 18, 2016, the Eagles posted the lyrics of this song with the announcement of his death. "Words can neither describe our sorrow, nor our love and respect for all that he has given to us, his family, the music community & millions of fans worldwide," the statement read.

  • Rolly Robustelli from Wake Forest, NcI love the Spanish influence here along with the lyrics. The horns and the vibes/xylophone in the background make it pretty special. And he is saying goodbye to us all.....perhaps in some way he knew......
  • Ruwantha from Colombo, Sri Lanka (ceylon)I love this song.. it sounds great on guitar
