Songfacts®:

  • Empire's original music is executive produced by Timbaland, marking the legendary producer's first work on a TV series. This trap banger features on Season 2, Episode 3 and finds him stepping out from behind the boards and getting on an Empire track for the first time ever.
  • The verses were penned by Bryshere "Yazz" Gray (Hakeem Lyon), who told Billboard magazine: "The process was, I was filming for about 18 hours and Timbaland was the studio, making the record. Once I was done filming about 2 o'clock in the morning, I went to the studio and we created a record. Timbaland is so creative - he just laid the beat down and made it easy for me to go in."
