  • Viewers tuning into the "My Bad Parts" episode of Empire were introduced to a new storyline. Rolling out over three episodes, they saw Jussie Smollet's character Jamal land a commercial deal with Pepsi and film an ad for the beverage company.

Written and produced by Swizz Beatz (Beyonce's "Check On It"), this is the song that soundtracks the commercial. "The track starts with a slow walk," Beatz explained to Billboard magazine, "to focus attention on Jussie/Jamal's vocals and the emotion of what he's singing about -- being ready to go to the next level. Then it crescendos into this burst of energy."
